Step 2: Analyze Thesis For each sentence in the thesis statement analyze the following: How does the sentence contribute to answering the prompt? Identity the topic/point to prove. Does the topic/point to prove ATQ? What is it? Does it apply to both empires? What is the topic of the why? Remember, a why is NOT a description, but rather a root cause. In BLUE font after each sentence, address 1-5 above.

Step 3: Body Paragraph Analysis
How many pieces of evidence is provided to prove the point? # the evidence as it is presented in RED font. Does the body discuss and expand on the why? Highlight in yellow. Do 1-2 for EACH body paragraph. Put group member names at the bottom of paper.
