A Life Well Lived A reminder of the truth in suffering

The Early Years When you were young the world was so big. Your heroes Mom, Dad, Nicole always could help you no matter what. You weren’t bad, however, you always had energy. Constantly moving. Constantly alive.

Always Pretending As a child growing up you had an incredible imagination. Thoughts and dreams would take shape in your mind and you could bring them to life like no one else you know. The fun was outside but it was mostly inside. In your heart.

Going to School As you grew up a little your sense of self evolved. Taking after your father you were always quick to crack a joke or be the center of attention. You held yourself to upmost importance. Always self conscious.

Growing up As maturity set in so did immaturity. Through Middle School and early High school you were intimidated and self conscious. Everyone you met you thought of as friend or foe. Up until you met those who influenced you differently. Your friends who awakened your soul to a spiritual calling.

A New Chapter When a chain of events led you to realize some sort of inner calling you found a way to better yourself selflessly. Through spiritual practice and the guidance of author/teachers like Osho, Eckhart Tolle and Sogyal Rinpoche. You were on the path to enlightenment.

More hurdles to Jump You quickly discovered that the spiritual path is in fact a lot of work (something you’ve always been allergic to.) and that it would take much effort. After taking the easy route for so long you came to realize the value in work and the value in pain.

Now Now you are realizing that your life goes in cycles when you remain unaware. Although you recently fell off the path for a while you quickly are starting to see that you must stay persistent and that worldly things need not interest you. You are now starting practice that will last the rest of your life.

The Next Step The possibilities are endless now that High school is coming to an end. Although college is one, to become a massage therapist doesn’t feel like your goal. To be liberated and free from suffering and to guide others toward the same is your goal. To be the best person you can and transcend this supposed reality of enslavement.

No Easy Task To become enlightened will take time. It will take your undying persistence and motivation. To take this step you must rely on the teachings that are relayed through the great masters present and absent. Money is needed for getting to your temple or institute to find your teacher only. The next step is to devote yourself to helping all sentient beings to reach liberation.

A New World You will help millions to reach their potential. To help build a new world.

A Last Lecture Through my experience I’ve come to realize the importance of dedication. The importance of ego and desire and the importance of moving away from them. Everyone I’ve met in High school has one way or another influenced and changed me. I now am starting to realize the importance of painful situations. Without them no growth could take place.

One Message My one message to the masses would be that pain is a gift, learn from it and to not avoid fear. Instead move into it and realize through your own experience what makes up these feelings. This is a way to truly be successful. The main point stressed in the lecture; do not be discouraged by others do what you know feels right in your heart. Evolve.
