2 Physical Bullying Definition: Harmful actions against another person’s body. – Examples include: Kicking, pushing, pinching, hitting, tripping, or any form of violence or intimidation

3 Verbal Bullying Definition: Repeatedly speaking to a person or about a person in an unkind or hurtful way. – Examples include: Sarcasm, teasing, put-downs, name-calling, spreading rumors or hurtful gossip.

4 Cyber Bullying Definition: The use of the Internet and related technologies (phones) to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner. – Examples include: Texts, cruel or untrue posts to Facebook or MySpace, etc…

9 More Strategies Suggested responses to the bully: A firm “No” or “Stop Now”; “I don’t like being pushed/teased/insulted so please stop.” Be confident in yourself! ALWAYS TELL AN ADULT if the bully continues, or if you get hurt.
