4 Action Buttons Linking, Sounds, & Action –Mouse Over Action – something happens when you move the mouse OVER the image –Mouse Click Action – something happens when you click on the image

5 Animation Schemes All the animations will be the same on every slide (for consistency) –Go to the “Slide Show” menu –Choose “Animation Schemes” –(look in the right-column) Choose an Action (Subtle, Moderate, or Exciting) Check the “AutoPreview” box at the bottom “Apply to All Slides” button

6 Custom Animation –Click on the desired Image/Text –Go to the “Slide Show” menu –Choose “Custom Animation” –(look in the right-column) Add Effect

7 Slide Transitions How do you want your slides to change from one slide to the next? –Slide Show (menu) –Slide Transition –(look in the right column) Choose Type Speed Sound When (with click or with timings?) Which Slides?

8 Rehearse Timings Set your slideshow to run with pre-set times so it runs exactly how and at the speed you want. –Slide Show menu –Rehearse Timings –Run through the presentation; it will record when you advance each element and save those timings –Save

9 Record Narration Add narration, if preferred –Slide Show menu –Record Narration –(will also record your timing if you haven’t already done that)
