2 USGS ARRA Program Announcement – Open to both Elevation and Orthoimagery – Will be posted on Grants.gov late Aug or Sept – All Proposals are Nationally Competitive  Awards from $50K and $500K  Awards > $500K will be considered if a Consortium or another named group are pulling resources together for a proposal ***** Disclaimer – Some Information could change ***** American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)

3 USGS ARRA Program Announcement – No requirement for Matching Funds – However, matching funds will be considered as an evaluation criteria. – Proposals with matching funds to offer will receive credit in the evaluation process – Selection criteria will be made available with USGS ARRA Announcement ***** Disclaimer – Some Information could change ***** American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)

4 USGS ARRA Program Announcement – Criteria will include priority areas of interest – Proposals within an area of interest will be given credit during evaluation process – Elevation LiDAR priorities are:  Coastal Counties (two deep) or,  Inland areas subject to flooding – Orthoimagery priorities:  Appear to be more broad ***** Disclaimer – Some Information could change ***** American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)

5 SC Partnership Funding Proposal – Funds Proposal by: Gary Merrill, Geospatial Liaison to SC – Plan is to submit a cost share proposal of between 15% and 20% of 2010 project total estimate for a 2010 flight – Between $200K and $300K possibly – Final proposal amount will be decided on by USGS/NGP Proposal Review Committee USGS Elevation Program FY 2010
