5 Nebraska Attendance Law : LB463 requires probation officers, social workers and school officials to communicate when students miss more than 10 days in an academic year. At 5 days: Counselor/Student/Parent conference At 7 days: Letter from School District At 10 Days: Meeting with Social Worker At 12 Days: Meeting with District Official At 20 Days: Referral to Juvenile Court
