4. 'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house No water was being wasted, not even by the mouse + =

5. The dripping faucet was fixed with care In hopes that water supplies would not run bare

6. x 2,700 = And because it saved 2,700 gallons a year It certainly brought a lot of cheer

7. All the children were sleeping in their beds Clean from a short shower not a bath

8. = Because they didn’t just let conservation opportunities come and pass

9. Even though it saved 40 gallons a year It didn’t seem like it was enough Short by 20% of goal Goal of Savi ngs ings Sta t a rt

10. They wanted to save much more of this so-called water stuff WATER JAR ?????

11. + = Low - Flow They started using a low-flow faucet and showerhead Because it saved them approximately 1.5 gallons per minute they said

12. And by only washing full loads in the dish and clothes washer The savings of water piled up in an incredible blur

13. They switched over to a toilet and dish and clothing washers that was very water efficient And can you guess what? The results were still sufficient! Water Efficient

14. Then there was the yard But saving there wouldn’t be hard

15. Per week Before they started saving…After they started saving… And by not watering their lawn as many times It saved them quite a few dimes

16. But that really didn’t seem like that was all they could do Because the time for people to act was way overdue

17. And so they thought it’d be cool If they brought the idea to their school

18. And after only a few days The school was saving water in the same ways!

19. When the time to plant new trees Came around in the spring Planting little water needing trees Was just the perfect thing

20. They even wanted to get their dad’s office in it too

21. Because they need more help If they wanted to save the earth’s blue

22. The company said yes They would use water less WATERUSAGEWATERUSAGE

23. And now its your turn because of our concern

24. That one day water may run out And then what will come out of your water spout ?????
