ANUPAMA KUNDOO ANUPAMA KUNDOO, born in Pune, graduated in 1989 from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, University of Bombay. She began her own architecture practice in Auroville, an international city-in-the-making, with a strong focus on material research and sustainable architecture. Her innovative approach to architecture is supported by intensive research and experimentation from the development of building technologies to building prototypes that are environmentally sound and socio-economically beneficial. WALL HOUSE Site area- 15 acres Built-up area -100sqm Completion of project – 1999 Wallhouse is having three main features: ecofriendly building materials alternative technology, and an architecture that is energy efficient and climate responsive.

THE WALL HOUSE, AUROVILLE EXTERIOR VIEW MEDITATION PLACE House is located in a reforested auroville community and extends the towns contribution to define the modern architecture The wall is like line drawn in nature which separates the private and public space, as well as a line that brings together the nature and the man made. Here the innovation lies in the definition of the building program for a residential house.
