Introduction Many things lead to a fall of an economy or even a change in society. Complete overhauls of government and revolutions. In any country it is very important to have a strong leader. Many countries around the world have dictators such as Cuba, but many countries have a democracy like the United States. Cuba has Fidel Castro, the Untied States has Obama and France had Napoleon.

What is a Good Leader? A good leader is someone who is responsible, honest, and trustworthy. A good leader is someone that you can go to with a problem and except it to be resolved. When a leader talks, everyone listens. When a leader walks, everyone marches behind him. These are a few things that make a good leader.
9
Part 1:The Leadership Role of the President The President has a few main roles he has to cover. A few of the things he has to do is supply people with jobs and represents all citizens. About 40% of all Americans don’t have jobs at this moment. That’s 2 in every 5 people. Obama, our president, also has to represents all of us. His decision reflects on the rest of us. What ever he decides to do with the nation he decides to do to us. A president can also be a tyrant. When I president is a tyrant they can be stubborn, indecisive, and hot tempered. When leaders want everything their own way it means that they really don’t care about your opinion, which is very wrong since this is a democracy not a dictatorship. If a leader is indecisive it can assure you that he is not confident enough to make a decision an stick to it.
10
Part 2:Expectations of His Presidency George W. Bush 2 was our previous president. He did a horrible job. He left us in a very bad economy. About 40% of all Americans don’t have jobs. George W. Bush put us in a war against the middle east for oil. that's when Obama stepped in. Obama promised us so many things. He was going to stop the war, and bring back our troops. He was going to help us Latinos out, going to give our children, our future, free health care. He hasn’t done much though. Instead of helping us he has just made it worse. He sent more troops instead of bringing them back. This is a dilemma!
11
Part 3: Problems He Had to Confront as President The Great Depression can be compared to our times now in 2010. During the Great Dep. Our president was a republican by the name of Herbert Clark Hoover. Hoover did barely nothing to help us in our time of need just as Q.W.B. Then came Franklin D. Roosevelt and created the “New Deal”. The New Deal helped the U.S.A. get through the G.D. Obama should follow in F.D.R.’s footsteps. The New Deal provided people with jobs which brought tourism which brought jobs. If F.D.R. did it why can’t Obama.
12
Part 4: Explanation of Obama Obama isn’t a horrible president because he hasn’t made things worse like G.W.B., but that doesn’t mean that he made everything better for Americans. It is very challenging to control an entire nation with a family but everyone before him did it why can’t him. What he wouldn’t want for his family he shouldn’t want for his nation. Obama is a Tyrant! He has done almost nothing for us in the past year. Obama might of changed his smoking habits but he will never change America!
13
Part 5: Historical Context Obama and Napoleon have their similarities and differences. Like mentioned before in slide 6. Many people has respect for Obama because he was the first African-American president. Many people have hatred over him because he is what he is, a black. Napoleon, on the other hand, made France better by making his peer countries worse just like Q.W.B. did. Napoleon also gave France a bad rep just like the U.S.A. does right now in 2010. Obama and Napoleon have good intentions but they just don’t know how to use it well.
14
Part 6: Extras ! “ Americans... still believe in an America where anything's possible - they just don't think their leaders do.” – Obama “A leader is a dealer in hope.” – Napoleon
