2. The purpose of the project is to utilize the growing use of Internet and Automation in daily activities and this project is built to enhance one such activity which is done on daily basis which is Car Parking. Number of cars is increasing because of increasing affordability. A corresponding intelligent system should be developed that can manage the parking of the cars in an environment where large number of vehicles are involved.

3. Not only there is just a need to park but for commercial purposes like parking charges the system should be able to do perfect calculation. The system that will be implemented in this project will be able to provide an automated environment for a car parking. The system will have hardware devices to monitor the physical environment and software logic to manage and control the activity to be performed according to the results computed from the inputs provided from these hardware devices.

4.  The owner of the parking lot can track details of each parking and adjust the costs for it.  Image processing to figure out licence plates for unique vehicle identification.  Each parking lot linked to the internet.  Image processing and IOT(internet of things).

5.  Free parking spaces too can be seen.  The phone will say for you.  Estimate of rush hour.

6.  Parking Zones near a particular area will be shown to the user.  The system will find a parking spot, time and cost using microcontroller.  The microcontroller used is Arduino pro-mini.  Infra Red transmitters and Receivers will be used.

7.  The IR sensors will be connected to the microcontroller and the microcontroller will update the information of parking spaces accordingly.  Available parking spot will be displayed.

8.  If one Zone in a area gets filled by the time the user reaches then user will be notified for next closest zone  Time will be calculated.  parking space determination through bit logic.  The microcontroller will be connected to a web server and information will be retrieved on a web page.

9.  Multiplexes, stadiums, shopping malls face a severe problem for car parking systems.  Lack of intelligent monitoring systems.  To reduce man labour.  Difficult to find parking spots.

10.  Inaccurate monitoring of cost.  Reduce human efforts.  Congestion at parking lots.

11.  Arduino pro-mini microcontroller & Arduino Uno.  IR sensors.  Router.  Web server and database server.

12.  Program will be compiled using Arduino compiler.  Arduino Uno is used to burn the program in Arduino pro-mini.  HTML5, PHP for interface development.  MATLAB.
