2. Habitat They live in shallow water Mostly found in Bays, Coastal waters, and lagoons Not found in the open ocean often

3. Types There are over 300 different types of turtles Anywhere from pets, to ocean, to the dessert Two main types are Leatherback Sea turtles, and Green Sea turtles

5. Food They mostly eat vegetarian Some will eat crab, squid, and shrimp Others even eat coral, sea cucumbers, and sponges

6. Mating Start at age 13 and end at around 50 Lay anywhere from 50-200 eggs each time Can lay eggs up to 9 times each season Lay them on the shore

7. Why I Chose Turtles I chose to do my report on turtles because they are my favorite animal in the whole world. I think everyone should have a favorite animal and learn more about them. And see if there is anything they can do to help them. Turtles are unique each one is different in its own way. Kind of like people. They are amazing and I love them.
