Hi, my name is Anke. I‘m professor of the geography education and I currently work at Justus-Liebig- University in Giessen. I coordinate the German activities of the project.

I’m supported by a team of very engaged young people, who look at the world from quite different perspectives.

But also because my student teachers who have just left school think that for example people in Northern Togo… do not need electrical power because they have to solve their hunger problem first, cannot install wind power plants as they do not know how to operate them do not need windmills as they have no electrical power cannot operate windmills as there is no wind in the warmer regions live a life in unity with nature that Europeans should not interfere with …or as a friend of mine from Togo says:
