26  High School and college students.  Video or DVD explaining the profession for use in science classes or career days could have a positive impact.

27  2 hours single FP lecture in medical school.  Focusing on death certification principles would bring concepts of death to the medical students attention  Raise awareness of the need for national FP

28  Pathology residents do 1 month or longer rotation an accredited FP training program  Incorporate death certification and additional forensic questions into its anatomic pathology examination.  Residents could be encourage to publish forensic related case report and descriptive studies.

29  Alternative training pathways were suggested ◦ Internal medicine plus 1 year of anatomic pathology and 1 year of forensic pathology.  To pay better salaries

30  FP requires passionate commitment. The committee should not have to talk people into it.  The need to let people know the career exist and that it is a viable career.  There should not need to encourage people. Shows like CSI have them pouring in.

31  Pay is extremely low and the standard of work is often low.  Improve remmuneration and better working conditions are required  More emphasis on medical students with more academic approach and orientation
