2. National Vision Qatar is at a crossroads. The country’s discovery of natural resources has created a huge amount of wealth. With this wealth comes great opportunities. The National Vision aims at transforming Qatar into an advanced country by 2030, capable of sustaining itself and providing a high standard of living for all of its people now and for future generations.

3. Qatar’s National Vision rests on four pillars Qatar’s rulers (Emir and government) are aware that eventually their natural resources will run out. Therefore to become a self sufficient country and one that holds a strong role in the global environment, 4 main initiatives (pillars) have been designed and are being implemented. 4. HUMAN DEVELOPMENT Development of all its people to enable them to sustain a prosperous society. Education; advanced educational and health systems. First rate education and scientific research. Increase the participation of Qataris in the labour force. Not reliant on expat workers to manage, or the need to employ more experienced expats Attract qualified expat workers in all fields to achieve all goals.

Promotion of equal rights for women in society and the workforce. Building a safe society for; family, people of other cultures, freedom, equality, high morals – tolerance; co-existence between people of different religions and cultures
