Holt Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development 28 Energy Efficiency Grant Program Based on income, DHCD can offer energy efficiency grants to help low income Marylanders save money on utility bills; improve the comfort, health and safety of their homes; and repair or replace nonfunctioning heating systems by offering no-cost energy efficiency upgrades.

Holt Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development 31 Energy Efficiency Loan Program (Be SMART) If the household income exceeds the low income grant program requirements, a homeowner may qualify for the Be SMART loan program. This unsecured, low interest loan offers financing for energy efficiency upgrades to the home.
