2 Information Analyst This section is for users with the Information Analyst role on their smartcard. NHS e-Referral Service reports and extracts will not be available for go live Reports & Extracts The content of the Help function has been enhanced. Enhanced Help Function Click on the heading of any item for a fuller description

3 NHS e-Referral Service reports (and not all of the historic Choose and Book reports), would have been unavailable for go-live, a decision has been taken to delay the publication of all user-facing reports until August 2015. The decision has been taken by the Programme Delivery Board after consultation with key stakeholders and users, the main aim being to avoid any confusion as to what is or isn’t available. The service will, however, provide most of the extracts used by many organisations to produce their own reports. These extracts include: –Critical Extracts required by TAL to generate the patient reminder letters. –Other key extracts used by information analysts to generate their own reports (all apart from the infrequently downloaded EBSX07, EBSX01, EBSX06, EBSX08 extracts. Information Analyst – Reports & Extracts (1 of 2)

4 The utilisation reports that we generate centrally and publish on our website, will continue to be available (although there may be a short delay, after go-live, before these are ready) We anticipate that all of the new NHS e-Referral Service reports will be available during August 2015 and we expect this to include the monthly reports that would have been generated in July and August. Historical Choose and Book reports (i.e. prior to June 2015) will also be available within the application from August onwards. What should I do now? If you rely on the information provided within the current Choose and Book system then we advise you to download any reports and extracts that you need NOW and save the data outside of the application so that you have access to them in the intervening period.
