1. ETS application process  Step 1 – Referral source will contact the ETS office via telephone (989-2460), email (harding@calumet.purdue.edu), or walk-in (Purdue Univ. Calumet, SUL room 313) to commence the application process. harding@calumet.purdue.edu

2. Educational Talent Search Purdue University Calumet ETS application process  Step 2 - Parent/guardian will secure and bring relevant income documentation to the interview appointment NOTE: If the potential participant is eligible for free or reduced lunch, then there is no need to secure income verification.

3. Educational Talent Search Purdue University Calumet ETS application process  Step 3 – At least one parent/guardian AND participant will attend a mandatory interview to commence the individual educational plan (application) process.

4. Educational Talent Search Purdue University Calumet ETS application process  Step 4 – During the interview mutual expectations will be discussed regarding participation in ETS, including program services, academic monitoring, and follow- up procedures.

5. Educational Talent Search Purdue University Calumet ETS application process  Step 5 – Participant will complete a grade appropriate Needs Assessment during the interview. This step will confirm the applicant as a “new” participant.

6. Educational Talent Search Purdue University Calumet ETS application process  Step 6 – After the interview, ETS staff will contact the participant’s school to verify eligibility and secure most recent transcript/report card.
