3 | Monthly Web Coordinators Meetingeere.energy.gov The “Energy Empowers” blog is being expanded to cover the entire Department, and will now be operated by the Office of New Media (PA). All stories on “Energy Empowers” will be shifted to the “Energy blog” under the heading “Profiles”. At the time of the Energy.gov facelift (early Jan), logistical changes will take place and “Energyempowers.gov” will be shut down. A team of writers based out of New Media will be working with EERE programs in a similar manner to the current operation. EERE’s story quota cut from 30/week to 15/week. New effort will emphasize Quality over Quantity. Energy Empowers is Changing

Never assume that a “hallway conversation” with a member of any of the three core Web teams implies project approval. Realize that there are consequences of not following the EERE Web process, i.e., being asked to take down a site developed outside of our standards. Project Teams
