16 ScotStat is the structure through which Scottish Official Statistics are consulted on, and users of statistics are kept involved and informed 1.Committees Several topic specific committees meet regularly to discuss plans and progress in the development of specific areas of statistics 2.Annual Conference Since 2007 there has been an annual event for ScotStat members to meet and discuss wide ranging and strategic issues 3.Network of Analysts from Local Government and Other Public Bodies Runs through demand led workshops and short lived working groups 4.Register Registered members specify their areas of interest and are kept informed of publications, consultations, events, plans.
