Introduction The purpose of this web quest is to focus on the change Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made in our society. Through each task, you will focus on the impact he made in his life that affects each of us today. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a very important figure during the Civil Rights Movement. Without his efforts, many of the things we take for granted today would not be possible. Through his speech, " I Have a Dream" Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. aimed to inspire each individual to join together to promote integration in our country.

Task Throughout this web quest, you will learn about the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You will learn how his accomplishments have shaped our lives today. By the end of this web quest, you will be able to apply his teachings and beliefs to your lives today and create your own dreams for society and future generations.

Conclusion In conclusion, we have learned what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for. In his speech "I Have a Dream" he talked about some of his goals/dreams for our country during the civil rights movement. Martin Luther King Jr. is a great inspiration to many people, and he is one of the most important historical figures at this point in time in our country. Now we have a better understanding as to why we are out of school on the 3rd Monday of January.
