1 Cheer on the Baton in the Host City! The Queen’s Baton Relay arrives in Glasgow on 20 July for the last three days of its journey. It has travelled over 190,000 kilometres around the world. You can be part of those exciting final days leading up to the Games by applying for a FREE ticket in the online ballot to one of the finish line events where 8,000 people will be celebrating the baton’s arrival. You can enjoy incredible circus acts, stunning dance performance and a spectacular music programme including the energetic force of Salsa Celtica. You can also get involved with come and try sports, arts and dance activities along with lots of special entertainment. You can apply for your tickets from now until 22 June. Some schools are going to be used as polling stations and they will require additional polling clerks. Are you interested in becoming a clerk?
