The BSCES Public Awareness & Outreach Program 2013 Mission: Our mission is to promote appreciation of Civil Engineering. Towards this effort, we will: provide our community with relevant Civil Engineering related information, actively utilize the vast range of knowledge found within our membership towards better educating both students and the public as a whole, and raise awareness within our profession of activities that would "build bridges" with the public. Written in 2003.

Providing Community with Relevant Information Main reason for hiring executive director Community must understand its own infrastructure needs. Community must understand educational needs to sustain infrastructure. BSCES must actively speak out about the above because nobody else will. BSCES is member driven with no agenda.
