3 To increase exports by New Mexico small businesses to Mexico and the world, and to increase the number of small businesses doing business with the maquiladora industry.

4 Any New Mexican company is eligible to participate in the program. There is no cost for the assistance.

5 The consultants will assist you in: Becoming export ready Accessing international trade resources Promoting your products to selected target markets Identifying buyers for your product/services Facilitating meetings with potential buyers Conducting follow up with prospects

6 Every year, Mexico imports billions of dollars of products in a multitude of categories from U.S. businesses. As the state’s leading trade partner, Mexico imported $464.4 million from NM companies in 2011.

8 Since inception we have helped New Mexican small businesses export over $180,000. o HaulRite of Four Corners, Inc. : Assisted in identifying a customs broker on the Canadian border in order to ship its trailers to buyers in that country. Company is now exporting its trailers to Canada. o Summit Laboratories : Assisted in identifying buyers of its services in Mexico’s maquiladora industry. Company currently has contracts with clients in Juarez. o Southwest Steel Coil : Assisted in finding new clients in the Mexican market. The company currently has a contract with clients in Chihuahua. o Solstar : Assisted in identifying a market in Mexico and finding new clients. o Auto Brite : Assisted in obtaining the Certificate of Origin NAFTA and finding new markets in southern Mexico.
