2. Problem
Do different brands of popcorn leave different amounts of un-popped popcorn kernels?

3. Hypothesis
I predict that the Orville Redenbacher’s will leave the least amount of kernels left over after being popped, because it is the highest quality brand.

4. Materials
4 different brands of popcorn
Microwave
Paper
Pencil
Camera

5. Procedure Need 4 different brands of popcorn
Pop the popcorn for the same amount of time
Take pictures while popcorn is popping
Count all of the un-popped popcorn kernels in each bag and record it down on paper.
Look at all of my results for how many popcorn kernels are left in the bag and then determine which brand of popcorn pops the most kernels.

6. Results Orville Redenbacher’s- 33 kernels left over
ACT II- 27 kernels left over
Kroger- 98 kernels left over
Clover Valley- 47 kernels left over

7. Conclusion
My Hypothesis was wrong Orville Redenbacher’s left 33 un-popped popcorn kernels, when ACT II only had 27 un-popped popcorn kernels.
