If we put together a PP programme based on the current programme plus some new initiatives and R&D for the future, then we see two problems: –short term cash problem –long term unsustainability A favorable settlement from SR2002 would ease the second problem but not the first.

Receive advice and guidance from the peer review system and the Executive. Take decisions on the advice to the Executive.

Need to balance the current programme against investment in the future.
