John Young Year: Freshman Major: Computer (software) Engineering This course allowed me to experiment with autonomous robots for the first time. The activities in this course have furthered my interest in robotics and I hope to continue learning about the field in my time here at UF. To others taking the course in the future I would suggest starting with the simplest solution and making it more complex from there. Starting with an idea too complicated can lead to frustration and even failure.

Alec Luaces Year: 1 st semester Freshman Major: Before this Semester I was going to be a Chemical Engineering major or mechanical engineering major. Now I am switching my major to Industrial Engineering or Marketing/Finance Even though this class did not influence me to switch to a major in EE or ME, I still learned a lot about what makes electronics work and what goes on behind programming a robot. My goal here at UF is to get involved with intramural sports and more clubs related to my career. My goal is to get a degree in IE or Marketing with an MBA and eventually work my way up the corporate latter (not sure where I want to work yet)

Team Conclusions Overall this class taught us the necessary fundamentals to work with autonomous robots. Not only did we learn to program the robots but we also learned about the hardware involved in making autonomous robots possible. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with these robots and get a first hand experiences of electrical/mechanical/computer engineering as freshman college students.
