1 The Incredible Cell Project Due Friday, January 18   You will be required to construct a model of a plant OR animal cell. You may choose to make an edible cell but your project does not need to be edible and can be made from everyday objects. If you choose to make yours of edible materials, it must remain fresh without refrigeration.

2 Number Name Function Sample Key 1 Cell Wall
Provides support and structure

3 3-D representation of a plant or animal cell. (mandatory)
Name on the project. (1 Point) Cell type identified. (either a plant or animal cell) (1 Point) All organelles and their functions are included and correctly labeled (10 for plants cells, 9 for animal cells) See example above. Label each organelle or use a key. (20 Points) Relationships and placements of cell parts shown correctly. For example: If this is a plant cell, are the chloroplasts around the vacuole? (10 Points) Project is under 30cm on any side (1 Point) Clear and easy to read. Quality work. (5 Points)

4 Notice the numbers on the organelles
Notice the numbers on the organelles? This has a KEY that says the name and FUNCTION (job).
