Scoliosis can be described as abnormal curvature of the spine.
What is it? Scoliosis can be described as abnormal curvature of the spine. Viewed from the front or the back the spine of a person with scoliosis would look somewhat like an “S” or a “C”

Symptoms Some symptoms of Scoliosis include: Back pain
Uneven shoulders Uneven waist Leaning to one side

Scoliosis is more common in girls.
Is it common? About 2 to 3 percent of teens around the age of sixteen will either have or get scoliosis. Scoliosis is more common in girls.
