Curricular Requirements and Goals –The course uses earth science, biology, and chemistry to understand the interrelationships of the natural world. –The course includes methods for analyzing and interpreting information and experimental data, including mathematical calculations.

Curricular Requirements and Goals –The course teaches students how to identify and analyze environmental problems, to evaluate the ecological and human health risks associated with these problems, and to critically examine solutions for resolving or preventing them. –The course includes a laboratory and/or field investigation component. A minimum of one class period or its equivalent per week is spent engaged in laboratory and/or field work (on average).

Curricular Requirements The course and AP test cover the following seven content areas: Earth Systems and Resources (10-15%) The Living World (10-15%) Population (10-15%) Land and Water Use (10-15%) Energy Resources and Consumption (10-15%) Pollution (25-30%) Global Change (10-15%)
