Old reporting system Process Paper based Forms sent in internal post to H&S Team Data entered centrally onto Access database Issues Approximately 1/3 FTE admin post Delays in receiving forms Time consuming – FOI requests, PI claims, RIDDOR reports

Online reporting system June 2006: Info – Exchange system rolled out to all schools Corporate sites rolled out over the next 3 months All sites using system from 2007 onwards No paper forms used Improved in 2009 to include school specific and remote reporting forms

Benefits to Richmond Data is only entered once No admin support required Safety officer time saved: Reviewing incidents Request for information Trend analysis Improved reporting of incidents
