School Elections The school elections program is designed to give students experience in the voting process, and thus encourage them to take a more active role in the democratic process once they are registered voters themselves.

Process of a School Election Official ballots will be created and printed. The election will be conducted at a central polling site within the school. Students, school staff, or volunteers will operate the polling site. Students will check-in and sign before they vote. Ballots will be marked by the students using county privacy booths. Ballots will be tallied. Results will be generated.

Quinceñera The Quinceaños, or la fiesta Quinceañera, is a rite of passage for fifteen-year-old Latina girls. It is a community and family celebration full of tradition and meaning when a young girl is symbolically escorted into womanhood by her family and the event is witnessed by her community.
