2. The reason we are doing this project is because we want to see which brand of paper towels will absorb the most water. Hypothesis We think that that great value will absorb the most water, because it takes longer to rip.

3.  9 cups of water.  3 sheets of Bounty paper towels.  3 sheets of Great Value paper towels.  a desk.  3 sheets of school paper towels.  A cup / measuring cup.

4. 1- Purchase Paper Towels. 2- Tear off a sheet of Bounty paper towel. 3- Measure 50 ml of water. 4- Pour water on desk. 5- Soak up water with the paper towel. 6- Squeeze water from the paper towel into a cup. 7- Measure how much water is in a cup.

5. 8- Repeat step 2-7 with the Great Value paper towel. 9- Repeat steps 2-7 with the School paper towel. 10- Repeat steps 2-9 two more times.

7. We learned that Great Value absorbed the most water. Our hypothesis was right that Great value paper towels held more water because of the way they look. If we did this project again I would not use school paper towels.

8. We would like to thank our mom’s for buying the paper towels. We would also like to think Mrs. Buscher and Mrs. Bowman for helping us.
