Weather is the short term change in the air for a given place and time. Climate is a region’s average weather conditions over a long period of time. Weather and Climate

Prevailing winds are winds that blow in the same direction over large areas of Earth. Ocean currents are large streams of surface seawater. Fronts are places where 2 air masses of different temperatures or moisture content meet together. Wind and Water

Rain shadow affect occurs when moisture in the ocean air falls on the mountainside facing the wind. Little moisture remains to fall on the other side, creating a rain shadow. Water and Mountains
