SHINE 2007: Westin Resort - Whistler, BC  Introductions (Umbe/Aaron)  179 participants (36 students)  Registration – badges (guests also), meeting program, poster layout, local info, backpack  Online – participants list, abstracts [program etc.]  Wednesday afternoon is a free afternoon  Sessions: - Plenary in Emerald C, - Splinters in various rooms on this floor Alpine AB/Alpine C/AlpineDE/Emerald C - Specific rooms TBD on a daily basis depending on group size, - LWS Shocks Team meeting Friday afternoon  Each room has projector - we would prefer transfer of talks onto “main” memory stick for eventual inclusion on SHINE website. RESPONSIBILITY OF SESSION LEADER  Poster session: in Emerald AB: - posters are 8’ wide and 4’ tall. - posters will be up all week, REMOVE BY FRIDAY 11:00 AM - posters have designated number (see pack for details) - velcro pads available.

2. SHINE 2007: Westin Resort - Whistler, BC  Internet access – free in hotel room with token (see handout)  Next year’s meeting with GEM in Utah including overlap with CEDAR  Food and refreshments - breakfast (7:00 – 8:30am) in and outside main conference room (Emerald C), - breaks in Emerald C (10 :30– 11:00, 3:15 – 3:45) - lunches on your own - poster session refreshments (5:00 – 8:00pm M – W, 5:00 – 6:30pm Th, cash bar), - banquet (7:00 – 10:00pm, Thursday,Emerald C)  Restaurants – list available from hotel  Free shuttle in and around Whistler  Leisure activities - as usual Wednesday afternoon is free - free access to spa and fitness center - free access to daily wellness classes (Yoga, pilates, aquasize) - indoor/outdoor pool - golf and bike packages available
