26. LOVE CANNOT BE DEMANDED OR ARTIFICIALLY INDUCED. God chose to come DOWN into our world NOT TO DEMAND or artificially induce our love for Him but, rather, to WIN our love by showing us how much He FIRST loved us. He accomplished this in a most unconventional way...

32. Philippians 2:5b ‑ 8 Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God, as something to be held on to. Instead, He LOWERED Himself taking on the very form of a servant, being made in human LIKENESS. And being found in APPEARANCE as a man, He humbled himself choosing to die on the cross to pay the price for our sins.

34. O Holy Child of Bethlehem, DESCEND ON US, we pray. Cast out our sin and enter in, be born in us today. We hear the Christmas angel the great glad tidings tell. O COME TO US, ABIDE WITH US, Our Lord, Emmanuel.

35. The Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD, AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS; AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY FOREVER AMEN.
