4. Goal How and Why were the pyramids built ?

5. There are a lot of large pyramids in Egypt.

6. Information  The Pyramid of Khafre is just one of many Egyptian pyramids built to house the remains of the dead pharos and their families.

7. Egyptian Design  Egyptians developed a way to build the pyramids which have many chambers inside which were the tombs of the pharaohs and their families. The work was done by slaves. They are built of large stones blocks brought from far away sometimes. Stone blocks were shaped by stone carvers.

8. Conclusions  Building the pyramids took many years. A lot of slaves died while they were being built. The pyramids were well built because they last all this time.
