Dancing in the wind there was a little seed who had nothing to give, or to want or to need. But she knew she would never be a weed So she just danced in the wind in rain or shine, and landed in my garden and became a flower of mine.

Answer 2 of 3 Questions C3- Create 3 possible titles for this poem. Tell why you chose the titles. Share your titles with 3 friends and have them choose the one they like and why. B3-What generalization best describes the poem? Use evidence from the poem to support your choice. C1-Make a list of human characteristics the author used to describe the little seed. Add 5-8 of your own. Share with a friend; have them write if they agree or disagree with your list and why.

Complete 2 of 3 Activities 1. Pretend to be a news reporter. Write an article on the life of a seed. Be the illustrator too. Be creative. 2. Be the inventor of a unique T- chart. Organize these 2 ideas: phrases describing seeds and characteristics of seeds. Make sure you have 8-10 ideas on each side. 3. Choose an object like the seed and write an 8- 10 line poem using human characteristics.
