Canadian Accredited Security Contractor (CASC) Program The CASC program was recently updated with lower pricing and the removal of regional and national levels. Municipalities continue to adopt the program and to include the CASC as criteria required in their tenders. The program is beneficial to all provinces and is more applicable to those that do not have government mandated regulation. CASC Companies choose to become accredited as a way to differentiate themselves from other companies.

CANASA’s Alarm Technician Course, has been updated and developed in an online format in both official languages. CANASA will welcome members to post their online training courses on the CANASA website to be made available to other members. The courseswill be housed in a library of education tools, sorted by security related category i.e. CCTV, Access control… Education

Commercial and residential security contract templates have been developed and are available at canasa.org to all members for free. Contracts were developed in order to reduce the legal costs incurred by members while increasing their protection and the value of their accounts. A library of false alarm by-laws and false alarm fine information has been collected and is available on the CANASA website. Members can quickly and easily search by city, region or municipality. Over 1,000 municipalities in the repository. Online By-law Repository
