3 Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase Detoxifies Lipopolysaccharide in Zebrafish IAP is an enzyme that interacts with the microbiota in the gut. IAP is an enzyme that interacts with the microbiota in the gut. It was proven that decreased IAP activity caused inflammation in zebrafish intestine.
