Why do we have The Big Conversation?

What did we say at our last Big Conversation? We talked about: How our school has changed since last year - changes we liked and didn’t like so much. And How we have managed to deal with those changes things that have helped us.

Having a new Reception class Having new teachers Moving up / changing classes Feeling more confident Learning new / different ‘stuff’ New people have come to our school New curtains in the hall Having football back Having new plates and bowls for school dinners Making new friends Behaviour New topic work – WW2

What did we say at our last Big Conversation? Having harder work Moving house and having my own room Hot dinners have got nicer – fudge tart every Wednesday! ICT days New lunch time supervisors Having Peer Mentors to help with our fights and arguments Clubs Reading a story with the class teacher The new pupil jobs

After the Big Conversation, all of the staff, School Council Representatives and Peer Mediators will look at your ideas and think about how we can help to make our school an even better place to be. We will tell you next term we thought. What will happen as a result of today’s Big Conversation?
