2 Mission Statement Today we will be discussing:
the different types of land uses in the marsh. the problem of the water and the animals in the marsh. the trail we created for the animals to mate and migrate. the uses of the marsh land before it was a marsh.

3 Areas of Land Uses Areas of Land uses are: Residential Industrial
Water Marsh Transportation Open Space

4 Residential Residential areas consist of: Houses Complexes
Small Businesses People live in residential areas. There are small businesses which help people survive.

5 Industrial Industrial areas consist of: Businesses Buildings
Businesses such as PSE&G . Buildings to keep jobs for the citizens of its city.

6 Marsh Animals live in the water.
The food chain begins in these waters. Animals mate in these areas.

7 Water Water area consist of : Lakes Ponds Seas Oceans Rivers

8 Transportation Transportation consist of: Streets Train Tracks Bridges
Subways Highways Roads Runways

9 Open Spaces Open Spaces consist of: Parking Lots Open Lots Parks
Beaches Baseball Fields Football Fields Soccer Fields

11 Developed Land Developed land is a land that has been improved by having things being built on it such as buildings, and airports. Developed land is land that has gone through many different changes to come to this stage.

12 Man Improved Marsh A man improved marsh is land that has been artificially developed. A man improved marsh is also a marsh that was created in an unnatural way.

13 Land Fill A land fill is a land that was once or is being used as a place for garbage. A land fill is a place which was used for disposing tons of trash.

14 Marsh Land A marsh land is a land that has many animals adapting to its environment. A marsh land is also a place where animals mate and spend time to stop and rest during their trip of migrating .

15 Vacant Vacant is an open area which has nothing built on it.
Vacant is an area that isn’t used for any particular purpose.

16 Vegetation,Water and Cement
Vegetation is leaves, trees and plants that reserve positions in the marshland. Water consist of rivers, lakes, oceans and seas. Cement is something that makes up sidewalks, bricks, and houses.

17 The Great Animal Trail Red = concrete and steel
Green = vegetated areas Blue = water Yellow = our path Our path connects the animals so they mate and migrate.

18 Conclusion The things we learned in this program are :
the different types of land uses and land coverage. there are many different animals living in the marshland. anyone can save wildlife no matter how old they are. animals can have a better place to live if we learn how to coexist with them.

19 What We Liked Most What I liked most was the people here and how they made learning fun. What I liked most was that I learned how to use a computer better and that it is more fun than I expected. What I liked most was how the groups worked together and gave their thoughts.
