What is Earl/ Curly Lambeau Known for Earl Lambeau is known for many reasons. He was a major athlete, a hard worker, and the most reason he is known for is building Lambeau Field.

Birthdate Earl Lambeau was born on April 9, 1898 to, Mary and Marcel Lambeau, in Eastern Green Bay Wisconsin.

Curley Lambeau Childhood In Curley’s his family could not a afford a regular sized football. But they either used a soccer ball which you could not through the soccer ball pretty far, but you could kick pretty far. Or they used their football that was made of, stuffing, air, and cloth. Or they used the salt sacked football.

Curley’s High School Curley went to high school at Green Bay East. Curley was not just any ordinary high schooler he was a major athlete! He played in football, track, and field. Their mascot was the red devil.

Curley’s Colleges Curley went to collage in 1926 at the age of 18. He first went to UW/University of Wisconsin. Then after one year at University of Wisconsin he dropped out of college, because of the football program. Then he went To the University of Notre Dame.

Jobs Curley’s first job was being a constructer. His second job was being the head football coach, at East Green Bay. After he became the assistant coach for notre dame. A few years later he became the head coach of notre dame.

Interesting Facts He was born April 9, 1898 in Eastern Green Bay. Curley’s real name is earl. They changed the name to curley because his hair is curley. He was also a very athetic man with his strength and speed. He mostly went to the collage Madison, in Wisconsin for the football program. Curley got married and divorsed 3 times with Margret Van Kessel, Susan Johnson, and with Grace Garland. 1965 Lambeau field was named after Curley. 1965 Curley dies.

Curley’s Death 1965 Curley died in Strugeon Bay, Wisconsin on June 1 st 1965. A lot of people came to his sad funeral.

Curly’s Timeline 1998- Earl/Curley Lambeau was born in Eastern Green Bay, Wisconsin to Mary and Marcle. 1917- curley gradguates from Green Bay East. He attends 1 month at Wisconsin, Madison. 1918- Curley attends with Notre Dame. 1919- Curley meets with George Calhoun and their discution leads to a new city team sponserd by the Indian Packing Company. 1919-Curley and Margeret Van Kassel get married. 1921- The Packers join the American Profesional Football Association ( Later named the National Footbal Leage or NFL). 1929 through 1931- Curley wins 3 NFL championships in a row.

Timeline Continuse 1933-Curley and Margerett Van Kessel get divorsed. 1935- Curley and Susan Johnson are maried. 1936-He lads Packers to chapions. 1939-Leads them to their second NFL chapionchip.( and one) 1940- Curley and Susan Johnson are divorsed. 1944-Leads them to their last chapionchip.(and one) He resighns as coach of the Packers on January 31, 1950. He is also hired by the Chicago Cardinals. 1954-Curley is fired by the Washington Redskins. Curley and Grace are divorsed. 1963- Curley is inducted to the NFL Pro Hall of Fame.

Timeline Contiues 1965-Curley dies in, Strugreon Bay, Wisconsin on June 1 st 1965. City stadium is renamed Lambeau Field in Augest.
