Introduction The precious Tao is upon this world due to the Universal Time Right now is the Age of the White Sun and God is ready for the destined souls to ascend out of this world and enter into the higher heaven By understanding Universal Time, we’ll gain a new perspective on the Mission of Maitreya, the temple communities, and our own place

3. Introduction The Age of the White Sun is the time of the Autumn/Fall in the Universal Time The White Sun concept comes from the I- Ching Five-Element system: – Wood: Green, Spring – Fire: Red, Summer – Metal: White, Fall (now) – Water: Black, Winter – Earth: Yellow, Center (all seasons)

The I-Ching System It is important for us to review the I-Ching System as the basis of Universal Time I-Ching is the Book of Change and it’s the foundation of the Chinese culture The I-Ching System is divided into two parts: the Heavenly System and the Earthly System The Heavenly System is composed of the Decimal system, which is made out of ten components: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0…

The I-Ching System We do not access the number 0, therefore 9 is the number of Heavenly completion (we bow 9 times at the beginning of the ritual) The Earthly system composes of 5 elements and they are: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water Therefore 5 is the number of Earthly completion (we bow 5 times after 9)

The I-Ching System The Five Elements have mutual creative/destructive relationships: --Birth Relationships: Wood  Fire  Earth  Metal  Water  Wood… --Overpowering Relationships: Wood  Earth  Water  Fire  Metal  Wood… The wisdom of “mutual creation” is that everything is created from something else and will eventually give birth to something else

The I-Ching System The Birth Relationships account for the Four Seasons of the Planet: – Wood (Spring)  Fire (Summer)  Earth (At Center of all Seasons)  Metal (Fall)  Water (Winter) Each of the Elements are also associated with a particular color: – Wood (Green), Fire (Red), Earth (Yellow), Metal (White) and Water (Black) Therefore the Age of the White Sun represents the Autumn/Fall of the Universal Time

The Universal Time Currently, we are at the transition between the age of the Red Sun and the White Sun Another word, we are at the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall of Universal Time The previous age of the Red Sun was the age of Fire and so there are fighting/burning (wars), working/hardship (slavery), and spawn of ideas (literature/education/culture)

The Universal Time The age of the White Sun will be the age of the metal and the season of the Fall – The prevalence of metallic (electronic) objects— the robots are coming – The abundance of resources (the harvest from the summer’s hard-works) – The celebration of happiness (explosion of entertainments) – The returning home (Ascension/Tao)

The Universal Time The “Returning Home” is the reason why Tao is upon us now According to the spirit transmissions, God has commissioned Maitreya Buddha for the Ascension of 9.6 billion souls during the Age of the White Sun, which will last 10,800 years 9.6 billion is a figurative number, which represents both male(9) and female(6)— another word, all souls will ascend

The Universal Time The previous Buddha’s are: – Lantern Buddha (teacher of Shakyamuni Buddha) – Shakyamuni Buddha (teacher of Maitreya Buddha) – Maitreya Buddha (the teacher of us all) Maitreya Buddha is the Buddha of Happiness and so this is his time He will be in charge of this world for the next 10,000 years Spirits of all heavens are sent down to assist him with his mission

The Universal Time Temple communities are the foundations of Maitreya Buddha’s mission in the next 10,000 years The fact that we are a part of the community means we were the heavenly spirits sent by God to assist with Maitreya’s mission We are here to serve the people in their receiving of Tao (the Three Treasures) and the eventual Ascension process

The Universal Time Even after this life, the experiences and wisdom we have gained in this life will enable us to assist with the managing this world Remember, Maitreya Buddha will be in charge of this world for 10,000 years so he’ll need a lot of spirits to help him manage this world We are the prime candidates for managing this world in the next 10,000 years

The Universal Time With all said and done, this great stage of the Age of the White Sun will make us all better Buddha and better children of God When it comes time for us to create our own worlds and manage our own universes, then the wisdom gained from this experience will serve us greatly Remember that we are all Buddha of the future and this world is just a training ground

Great Calamities As with any change of the seasons, the transition into the Age of the White Sun will experience a lot of calamities (more than all the previous ages combined): – Age of the Green Sun: 9 great calamities – Age of the Red Sun: 18 great calamities – Age of the White Sun: 81 great calamities The nature of the these calamities are also more severe

Great Calamities Nature of the Calamities – Green Sun: calamities by water (great floods have been reported in ancient texts throughout the world’s cultures) – Red Sun: calamities by fire (great warfare happened throughout the world resulting in burning, pillaging and great devastations ) – White Sun: calamities by wind…

18. The Prophecies Shakyamuni Buddha had prophecized the coming of Maitreya Buddha in the “Maitreya Descending Sutra” 2,500 years ago. Here are some of the phenomenon’s he observed: – The land is flat and without hills (highways) – The world has no hunger and foods are discarded – Strange flowers bloomed with music (speakers) – Everyone holding a treasure and constantly talking into it (cell phone)

The Prophecies Shakyamuni Buddha told all of his disciples that when Maitreya Buddha descends into this world, all of my disciples will be the disciples of Maitreya Buddha He also ordered four of his major disciples (including his own son) to refrain from ascending out of this world and remain here until the coming of Maitreya (and assist with Maitreya’s mission)

The Prophecies The Holy Bible of the Christian tradition is known to be the words of God The text of the Bible is believed to be transmissions from God to the prophets and so there were many prophetic messages The Book of Revelation has been traditionally known as the book that prophesize the events of the future:

The Book of Revelation Revelation Chapter 7: “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel descending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”

The Book of Revelation The temple’s interpretations is thus: – The four angels are the Four Great Heavenly Kings – The Four winds are the Great Calamities of the Age of White Sun – The angel from the East is Ji-Gong Living Buddha – The Seal of the Living God is the Tao – Sealing of the foreheads is the First Treasure – Calamities have been held back until the destined number is fulfilled (we are the servants of God)

Conclusion The great Tao is upon us because of the Universal Time of the Age of White Sun All the changes we are witnessing of the world testifies to the Age of the White Sun Those who have the fortune to be a part of the temple communities are the chosen spirits who can evade the calamities and be preserved for the creation of the next era (Kingdom of Heaven; World of Great Equality; Pure-land on Earth; etc.)
