What is Inquiry Based Math Curriculum? Student centered Student driven Student’s are the ones doing the work Teachers are just facilitators. Keep the students on task by asking the necessary questions to keep them thinking critically. Essentially, the students are teaching the math to themselves with the guidance of the teacher and their peers.

Project Based Learning Shows gains in students’ critical thinking and communication skills. 7 essential elements for meaningful projects 1. Driving question 2. Meaningful to the student 3. Students need a voice or choice in the project 4. Opportunity to build 21 st century skills and to use technology that will be useful to them in life and the workplace.

Project Based Learning 5. Enable students to conduct real inquiry. 6. Students should receive feedback to use in revision. 7. Students should publicly present their work.
