Today we will complete word problems that require us to combine our previous knowledge of adding and subtracting fractions with new knowledge of multiplication to find fractions of a set. Here are the steps we are going to follow as we work through today’s problems. Model the problem. Can you draw something? What can you draw? What conclusions can you make from your drawing? 2.
