Starting 2007,Jamaica began having a pageant called Miss Jamaica.The woman in the pic to the top right is Miss Jamaica 2007. Jamaica is a small island located in the carribean.It lies below Cuba and beside Haiti.It’s climates are mostly tropical and in the winter weather is usually between 53- 90 degrees F. One of Jamaica most popular foods include jerk sauce and are fried.In the bottom left is some good old fashioned Jamaican Jerk Chicken.

Jamaica is 4,244 sq miles.But the state of Florida alone is 54,252 sq miles. Over 75% of Jamaica’s land is tropical.But,less then 41% of Florida’s land has tropical regions. Over 70% of the Jamaican population is made up of kids.Mostly between the ages of 1-17.In Florida, between 55- 65% of the population is made up of children between the ages of 5-17. Jamaica runs mostly on it’s own crops & independent work. While most of the US depends on gas, electricity,and money. The population on Jamaica is estimated to be about 2,652,689. The population of Florida by itself is estimated to be about 17,789,864.

In Conclusion….. In conclucion Jamaica is more than what it seems. It’s culture,music,government, and ways of life may be different from ours but were still the same.

Five Words: Every corner has some kind of beach or seaside.Some people might even start calling it Bahamas. Jamaica reveolves around fruit for it’s natural resources. Along with sugar cane, Jamaicans love fruit and import it everyday.
