14.1: Perimeter of Rectangle
The opposite sides of a rectangle are the same length. The perimeter equals 2 times the length (L) plus 2 times the width (W). Perimeter of a rectangle: P = 2(L + W) W = Width L = Length

Area of Rectangle Area of rectangle is calculated by multiplying the length (L) and the width of the rectangle (W). W = Width L = Length

Perimeter of Square To find the perimeter of a square, just add up all the lengths of the sides: Area2 Length Length

Area of Square Area of square is calculated the area of a square is calculated by multiplying the length of the base by the height. Area2 Height Base

Area of Triangles Area of triangle = ( 1 2 × base × height) Height

Area of Circles Area of circle = π 𝑟 2 where r is the radius of a circle.
