4. Cell The intersection of a column and a row
You enter data into individual cells

5. Cell Pointer
A rectangle enclosing one cell of a spreadsheet, identifying that cell as active

6. Cell Address
Spreadsheets use row and column identifiers as the basis for cell addresses

7. Label
Name for data value

8. Value
An entered number or a result of a computation

9. Date
Indicates when a worksheet was created. Also used in performing calculations.

10. Formula
Calculates numbers based on values or formulas in other cells

11. Cell reference
Tells a formula to look up the contents of a referenced cell

12. Range
Contiguous cells referenced in a formula

13. Functions
Perform specialized calculations automatically

14. Argument
The value or cell reference that the function uses in its operation
