Philosophy of Education
Our classroom is a community where learning is engaging, meaningful and exciting. Each student’s uniqueness and individuality is accepted and valued. It is my goal to make students curious, life- long learner All About Me Bag- Have fun with it!

Joli Ann Jaguars are College Bound!
College Students Read . . . Learn to Read! Read to Learn! Love to Read! Every class in our school has adopted a university. We have adopted the US Navy. One student, every Friday, will get to hold the flag at Flag Salute.

The playground opens at 8:15- Parents must sign in at the Office to come on campus Wear Joli Ann shirts or college colors on Fridays Early release Wednesdays (2:10) Kona Ice- every Friday by cafeteria $3 *Please read over the Student Handbook for other important information and dates*

9:00-9:35 Jag 101- Intervention/Enrichment/Leveled Literacy Interventions 9:35-10:45 ELA– Guided Reading Groups and Centers 11:05-12:00 ELA/Writing*** 12:00-12:45 Lunch 12:45-2:30 SSR Math Instruction and Math Centers *** 2:30-3:00 Science and Social Studies 3:00-3:10 Closure- summary of learning ***Times and days vary per teacher and may need to be adjusted to meet P.E., Library, and Music schedules**

Behavior Plan Students will earn “Dojo Points” through
a classroom app called Class Dojo. + Teamwork, helping others, problem solver, honesty, effort - Hands on others, not problem solving, off task. Students can earn rewards for their points. (Positive call/note home, iPad time, teacher helper, etc) Parents can view points earned by logging in online or downloading the app. ***A serious offense or repeated issues will result in a child receiving a referral and possibly a visit to the office.
