Facebook Ad’s To Grow Your Friends List

We spent a couple of days work shopping and master minding on how to effectively “engage” on Facebook We talked about how to use your Business Page and your Personal Page in conjunction with each other By doing so we can we promote our “Brand” in a way that does not FEEL like constant commercials for your business

Your Facebook Formula insures you stay engaged Posting on your business page and sharing to your personal allows you to bring your Brand to the forefront But what about growing the audience How do you add more people to your lists of RE Partners or Clients

Use Facebook Ad’s to target people just like those you are already “friends” with You can even drive traffic to your website of people who are similar to your “friends” Use promoted posts or boosted posts so you are delivering “cool” content to the right people

First things first Create a post on your business page (posting for greatness) Monday is my motivational post day, great for posting to the business page and sharing to the personal right?

Next you need to create a “custom audience” of your current friends **This is NOT a 100% science** In reality it is about 50% accurate We are not just going to serve our ad to this audience But it will allow us to create a custom demographic based on this audience

Go to www.facebook.com/ads/manage (or navigate from the FB control panel, however is easiest for you)www.facebook.com/ads/manage Select Audiences from the Tools menu

Facebook understands the Power in custom audiences They know that the lists of people are a businesses best prospects and clients They now prompt you to either create and ad for those perfect prospects, OR Make an new audience of people who are very similar to those who you KNOW are awesome…… Look Alike Audience

By default your new audience will be the source Simply type in United States and select it from the list (yes you are seeing a number in the millions ***Leave the sliding scale all the way to the left)

Now you can you create an ad and show the people who look like your best targets your posts Click any one of the 200 places on Facebook that says create ad

Even if your list only finds 50% of the emails profiles Your “Look Alike Audience” is finding people who fit within specific demographics or your list You do not need big calls to action Hey Like my Page Click For More Info Allow people to check you out This will keep your ad cost low, but the branding impact is immeasurable

When someone does “engage” with the post send them a friend request Add them to the list that is appropriate for that “friend” Start engaging with them on a personal level
